Type the start and stop depth to remove from the log, click Top or Bottom to select either the absolute top or bottom of the log, or click Depths from Tops to specify a zone of interest using tops selected for display in the Tops Properties dialog box .

Select whether to lower the start depth or raise the stop depth to compensate for the cut portion. Depending on your selection, all log data either above or below the cut portion is shifted.
