Display parameters: Time model - parameters

---|---|
Sample rate |
Select the time between successive samples of the digital time series. Sample rate is in two-way time. To prevent time aliasing, wavelet frequencies greater than the nyquist frequency should not be used. The nyquist frequency is equal to half of the sampling frequency. |
Wavelet |
Click to display the Wavelet Properties: Spectrum dialog box. |
Model type |
Select either Zero offset model or click Multi offset model to enable the Multi-Offset tab and to generate any sonic or density logs required for offset modelling. |
Reflection Coefficients |
If all wells in your model include density logs, you can use a combination of sonic and density logs to calculate the reflection coefficient. If all of your wells don't have a density log, you can create one using Log Editor. |
AGC length ms |
Type a value for the automatic gain control applied to the data. AGC uses a box car method where a sliding window calculates an arithmetic average that is used to normalize the data point in the center of the window. Set AGC to zero for no automatic gain control. |
Noise |
Select the Apply check box and then click Edit to display the Noise Parameters dialog box, where you apply noise type. |
Multiples |
Select whether to display simulated first order multiples alongside primary reflections, or to just display multiples and not the primary reflection. First order multiples are the first reflection of a primary reflection. |
