Corrections can be made interactively to the log curve values or amplitude. This process involves picking pairs of adjustment points on a selected log curve displayed on the cross section. Each adjustment pair represents the anchor points at which the shift will start ("from") and end ("to"). For example, if two pairs of anchor points are selected, the log curve values will be shifted using the difference in the "from" and "to" values are the depths represented for each pair. The log curve values between the to pairs will use linear interpolation to determine the amount of shift.
Once the "from-to" pairs are picked from the displayed log curve, the "Amplitude Shift" log menu invokes the shifting option. You are prompted with the well and log curve information to verify that you want to apply the shift.
