Export Well Remarks

Main: Project > Export > Well Remarks

Well Remarks from the Main modules Well Tab can be exported to a comma separated value (*.CSV) file for use or importing to other applications.  There are three options for how the CSV file is formatted:

• UWI—Each line in the remarks text box is exported as a single row (record) with its identifying UWI. Use this option when exporting remarks for other Petra projects.

  Some applications only read the first row containing a UWI, subsequent rows with the same UWI are ignored.

• Space Delimited—All remarks for a well are on a single row with the UWI listed as the first item (Value). This format is compatible with other applications such as Kingdom.

• Enhanced—Remarks retain Petra's original formatting with line breaks. Primarily for spreadsheet use.

To export well remarks:

1. From the main module select Project > Export > Well Remarks...

2. Enter a File name and click Save. The "Save Well Remarks As" dialog will open.
   

   

3. Select an option and Click Save File.
