Positioning the map scale bar, symbol highlight legend, and attribute legend on the map

  

The map scale bar, symbol highlight legend, and attribute legend can be positioned anywhere on the map using the maps context sensitive menu.

To position the scale bar or symbol highlight legend:

  1. Right-click anywhere on the map.

  2. Select either:

  • Scale bar
  • Symbol Hi lite legend position
  • Attribute legend

  1. Select:

  • SE Corner

  • SW Corner

  • NE Corner

  • NW Corner

  • Custom—changes the mouse to a copy of the scale or legend with a target. Move the mouse to new position and left-click to place on the map.
