2D and 3D Survey Display Settings (Kingdom only)
Use the Display Properties window for 2D and 3D survey data sources to modify the appearance of labels, lines, points, and polygons (3D surveys only).
Labeling
You can change the font, point size, color, and decoration (bold or italics) of label text. You can also place labels at the start, end, or in both positions for lines. Label positioning rules determine where labels are placed on the map and priority determines which labels take precedent when encountering labels from other data types. Labels from data types with a higher priority take precedent over labels from data types with a lower priority.
Rule | Result |
---|---|
Fixed Position or Remove |
Maintains a fixed position for the label or removes it from the display to avoid overlapping text. |
Fixed Position with Overlaps |
Maintains a fixed position for labels and allows label text to overlap. |
Reposition or Remove |
Repositions labels where possible for clear display or removes the label. |
Polygons
Change the color, thickness, and style of polygon lines and change the fill color.
Lines
Change the color, thickness, and style of inlines and crosslines. Turn inlines and crosslines on or off and change the increment for both lines and line labels.
Points and shotpoints
Change the color and size of points (3D surveys). You can also change the point and label increment for both inline and crossline points.
For shotpoints (2D surveys), you can change the point color and size as well as the point and label increment.
