IHS Markit Content and Databases

Analytics Explorer connects to multiple databases and IHS Markit content platforms:

• Databases: Kingdom and Harmony databases, Enterprise Data Management (EDM) databases, standalone SQL and PostgreSQL. See EDM/SQL/PostgreSQL. All databases (with the exception of SQL Server Express, a Kingdom-specific lightweight SQL Server database) require you to enter credentials, unless you are opening Analytics Explorer from inside the application (and you have already entered credentials to open the project).

• Content platforms: DNA data (Dynamic North America) and EDIN data (International)

Once you have loaded your data, Analytics Explorer contains multiple tools to prepare your data and run analysis to further your understanding and inform decisions.
