Log editor
The Log editor allows you to edit and manipulate well logs.
To open the Log editor:
- Edit > Log editing
- Double click on a log in the model.
- Right-click on a log and select Log editing.

Log tabs across the top —Click to view and work with different logs. Drag tabs left or right to change order.

Draw a free-hand line. |

Draw a straight line. |

Redraw all or some of the log as blocks using an averaging or a culling method. |

Insert a new log section. |

Stretch or squeeze a log. |
|

Clip or filter a log. |
|

Apply a math equation to a log. |
|

Remove a segment from a log. |
|
|
Model different water saturation effects on the log. |
|
|
Model different porosity levels on the log. |
|
|
Create a log composite by inserting log data from another well. |
|
|
Merge two logs. |
|
|
Shift a log relative to other logs by depth. |
|
|
Insert a top at a location you click on the log. |
|
|
Undo and redo previous changes. |
|
|
Zoom a log portion in or out. |
|
|
Expand or contract the Log Editor tab display. |

|
Change the minimum maximum values of the log scale. |
