Database Server Admin Tool

The following information only applies to Petra Workgroup 201

The Petra Server Admin Tool is a  standalone program that performs routine database maintenance such as:

• Creating server lists
• Managing users and roles
• Backing up and restoring projects
• Controlling individual Petra connections to the database server or “sessions.”  

The Petra Server Admin Tool is launched from the Windows Start Menu and the executable file (PetraServerAdminTool.EXE) can be copied and run from any computer on the network.

When it first opens, the Petra Server Admin Tool has no active connections to a Database Server.  Note that the “Servers” list on the left side of the screen is blank.
