Commuter licenses

Commuter licensing allows you to check out a network license. You can then use Petra when not connected to the network. The maximum commuter duration is 90 days.

Important:

To check out a commuter license you must be connected to the network license server.

To check out a commuter license:

1.	Start Licensing.exe (C:\Geoplus1\licensing.exe)

2.	Click on the Commuter Licenses tab.

3.	Enter a number of days to check out a license for.

4.	Click Borrow License then OK.

5.	After you check out the commuter license, the License Status expiration date can be verified in:

•	Help > Project File Info...

•	Help > About Petra

To return the commuter license:

When you are back on the network:

1.	Start Licensing.exe (C:\Geoplus1\licensing.exe)

2.	Click on the Commuter Licenses tab.

3.	Click Return License then OK.

Note:

Your commuter license expires at the end of the set duration, and is automatically returned back to the license server.
