Map: View > Quicklist > Show

The map modules Quick List (QL) modifies the active features on a map.  The Quick List is a fast way of changing elements on the map.

To display the Quick List:

  • Click qwiklist0  (Show Quick List) on Map the tool bar

  • Map: View > Quicklist > Show

QL Common controls

Refreshes the map to reflect any changes to the selected overlay layers.  Select this option after adding or removing items to the listed overlay layers.

Toggles QL section On/Off.

Float QL Section. Sections on the QL can be un-docked and displayed in separate floating windows.

Auto Refresh

Automatically refreshes the map each time that a change is made.

Map Data

The Map Data section toggles and modifies various map display features including:

  • Select section to display on map

  • Double-click"Wells to open "Select Wells by Data Criteria" search function

  • Double-click data items in list to set the display parameters for that item

Overlay Layers

The Overlay Layers section selects the layers inside the currently loaded overlay file.

—Reloads the overlay file, any changes made to the overlay will be lost .

—Overwrites overlay file with any changes made in the Map module.

—Restore default view

Active Layer:—Sets a specific overlay layer as the "Active Layer".

  • Only items in this layer can be selected with the mouse.

  • If the active layer is a read-only or associated layer, you will NOT be able to select any items

The Overlay tree control supports:

  • Groups—Group's allow you to select / un-select multiple layers with one click

  • Drag and Drop— Once a group has been created, selected layers can be added to a group using drag and drop.

To create an overlay group and add layers:
  1. Right click on root node and select add group
  2. Follow the prompts to add a group for similar layers

WSN Sources

 

The WSN List section manages well selection using multiple WSN list files.

clip0380—Clears any added WSN source from the control tree and restores the default.

Imagery

—Opens the WMS imagery settings tool.

Map Navigation

Map Navigation displays a small thumbnail picture of the map.  When zoomed in, a red rectangle outlines the extents of the area shown on the entire map area.  Moving this red rectangle will pan the area displayed on the Map Module.  Resizing the red rectangle will change the area displayed on the Map Module.
