Retrieving a license file from Sentinel EMS
When a computer with Petra installed is not connected to the internet you can use another computer to access the EMS and download a license file (lservrc.zip). To do this you will need:
Downloading the license file
1.
On the computer where Petra is installed, start licensing.exe (C:\Geoplus1\licensing.exe).

Select Standalone tab, to view/copy the unique Computer Lock Code for that computer. You will need to provide this number to the Sentinel EMS on the other computer.

On the Customer Login page, select EID as the login name, enter your Entitlement ID provided from Customer Care, and click Login.

In the Sentinel EMS window, select the products you want to activate and click Activate.

In the Activate Product(s) window, enter the Computer Lock Code into the Client 1 info field outlined in red below.

Click Activate.

Specify and email address and the lservrc file will be sent to that address.
9.
Copy the lservrc.zip file received from the EMS to the Computer with Petra installed and extract the file. This file can be deleted after the license has been activated.
10.
Navigate to and start licensing.exe (C:\Geoplus1\licensing.exe).
11.
Click the Standalone License tab, and click Browse Feature Key File.

Browse to and select the lservrc text file generated for you by the EMS and click Open.

Click Apply.
